The Baton on the RaceToThe King 2021 ….
The interest in Honiton’s ‘The Baton’ charity and it’s message was truly heartwarming, so many lovely people wanting to hear about its purpose, where the funds go, how it has helped so many people in the discreet way it does and impressed with us not taking wages or expenses.
Requests to carry a Baton in the future were forthcoming and a Baton will be carried next weekend on Race To The Castle by Chris Leeper again keeping the Baton’s Message alive! and already looks like being on next years events and maybe a Baton Team.
My lovely friend Sally Bowey was great company in support of the elderly on her first ‘Ultra Marathon’
