Last night I accompanied Joanne Cowe to the Lympstone Manor Christmas Dinner and awards evening, Jo works there. What a long way they have come in such a short space of time, high standards and quality of service leading to a Michelin Star after just six months of opening.
It was good to meet Michael Caines MBE and thank him for his generous support of the 2017 Baton Dinner that raised an equally generous amount for our continued discreet welfare support, often through SSAFA DevonSSAFA, the Armed Forces charity
Jo and I shared the evening on our table with Michaela and David Johnson, both work at the Manor, Michaela is a manager and received two and very much deserved prestigious awards – both professional… not for her wicked sense of humour
