Helen Tailyour carries a Baton on the arduous ‘Coast To Coast’..
Sept 9th Helen took on this immense 105 mile challenge of running, cycling and kayaking across the Scottish Highlands carrying a Baton and its Message of Conscience for our armed forces and their families
Helen said “It’s an amazing race! I took my time over it as we had an 18 hour journey up and only 3 hrs sleep. All went well though my chain came off my bike 3 times and my back brake was seized on as well, but got it fixed, I wasn’t fast – but my view was always that I would be happy to make it to the finish and time doesn’t matter!
What a fabulous effort by Helen who has supported the Baton in many ways, for which we are very grateful…
